The whole world is witnessing the comprehensive movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to build human capabilities and invest in their potential in light of the Kingdom's vision 2030 and its executive programs and development projects, which keep pace with the talents of our country’s young, talented and creative human energies in various fields, whose creativity transcends the borders of our country to reach the world, as our wise leader - may God guide her - pays great attention to supporting and developing talents in the fields of science, including physics, and invests in education and scientific research programs to empower youth, through her commitment to preparing a generation of future leaders and scientists capable of bringing about positive change in the world, and enhancing its position as a major center for creativity and innovation, which will make the Kingdom an incubator for the brightest, most talented and creative global minds, and a promising humanitarian and economic hub with a bright future that will be reflected on the entire world. Saudi Arabia's hosting of the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad, with the participation of delegations from 27 countries, reinforces the Kingdom's position as a global incubator for talented and creative young energies in priority development areas that achieve added value for the future of humanity. It also represents an important opportunity to highlight the comprehensive Saudi experience in discovering, nurturing and empowering talented and creative people. In addition to the importance of supporting international scientific cooperation and sharing expertise in such international Olympiads, it creates a scientific movement that enhances confidence in talented Saudis to compete globally in various scientific fields, and develops the spirit of scientific competition between them and their peers from different countries of the world. King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) is a major participant in the system supporting the long-term visions of giftedness and creativity in the Kingdom, through its focus on discovering, nurturing and empowering talented individuals in scientific fields, through a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education and their strategic partners, which led to winning international awards represented by winning more than 690 medals and certificates of appreciation in the name of the Kingdom in the strongest international Olympiads for general education students in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, informatics, science, astronomy and nuclear sciences, of which the field of physics received 123 international awards, which was reflected in the form of accumulated qualitative expertise that Mawhiba now possesses to prepare and qualify scientific teams that represent the Kingdom in more than 26 international and regional competitions in scientific fields. In a world that is accelerating towards technological progress and innovation, science and physics emerge as vital elements to achieve sustainable development and build a prosperous future.
