Based on the university's prominent role in achieving academic excellence and encouraging scientific research and innovation in various fields, the university seeks to contribute to achieving the goals of Vision 2030 to develop the knowledge economy in the Kingdom. Hosting the Asian Physics Olympiad is in line with the university's strategy to develop new generations of students immersed in scientific research and innovating new scientific and technical solutions and developments. This event is also in line with the university's vision to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a global center for education and attract international talents to the Kingdom and to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in particular. Through this Olympiad, the university seeks to enhance the research and innovation environment and contribute to advancing the wheel of scientific discoveries that contribute to building a bright future for the Kingdom and the world.
